New Delhi: Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited has appointed Dinesh Tak as Chief Agency Officer, marking a key leadership addition as the company intensifies efforts to strengthen its proprietary distribution network.
The appointment of Dinesh Tak aligns with the insurer’s strategic priority of expanding its agency operations across India.
In his new role, Dinesh Tak will spearhead the strategic growth and scale-up of the agency channel for Canara HSBC Life Insurance.

His responsibilities include building a strong agency workforce, enhancing channel productivity, and delivering long-term value through personalized insurance solutions tailored to customer financial needs. He will report directly to Anuj Mathur, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

He noted that Dinesh Tak brings deep sector knowledge, strategic capability, and strong team-building experience, making him a valuable addition as the company builds a future-ready agency model suited to the evolving needs of today’s insurance consumers.

Extensive Experience in Insurance Distribution
With over 23 years of experience in insurance sales and distribution, Dinesh Tak has held leadership roles at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and Axis Max Life Insurance.
He has a proven history of scaling complex businesses, strengthening partner ecosystems, and driving sustainable business outcomes. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from IMT Ghaziabad.
